Despite several protests, Ramu was firm that he would not change the title.
In this process, he also took an oath and swore on Bezawada Durgamma that the title change will never happen.
However, ‘Bezawada Rowdylu’ has become ‘Bezawada’ now. When asked about it, Ramu is reportedly saying “Due to various reasons which I cannot reveal, the title change has taken place.”

Anna wants PM, Rahul or senior minister as negotiator
>> Monday, 22 August 2011
New Delhi: By this afternoon, the government had received two clear messages from Anna Hazare's anti-corruption demonstration at Ramlila Maidan: the national holiday was driving huge numbers to the activist's base camp (over 30,000 by afternoon); and that Team Anna wanted a senior minister, the Prime Minister or Rahul Gandhi to lead discussions for a possible truce with the activists. (Read: Who is Anna Hazare?) | (Read: What is Jan Lokpal Bill?)
74-year-old Anna is on the seventh day of his hunger strike; he has lost five kilos; doctors continue to examine him regularly. He repeated this morning that he will not end his fast till Parliament passes his version of the anti-corruption Lokpal Bill by August 30. The government's version of the Bill, introduced earlier this month in Parliament, has been attacked by Anna and other critics as a weak version designed to protect politicians and other public servants accused of graft. (Read: The Standing Committee looking into the Lokpal Bill)
The government spent the day stressing that it is open to discussions with Anna and his advisors. Speaking at IIM Calcutta, the Prime Minister said for the second time in 72 hours that there should be a "reasoned debate" on the Lokpal Bill. (Read: Govt open to talks, PM reiterates) Law Minister Salman Khursheed said that while dialogue is necessary, "A solution to complex issues cannot be delivered within two-three days." The minister also said that members of the government will decide when and how that discussion should be initiated.
The Prime Minister is expected to hold high-level meet on the Anna protest at 7.30 this evening. Sources have told NDTV that the government does not want to act in haste, but is concerned about the law-and-order situation.
Kiran Bedi, who is one of Anna's closest advisors, tweeted "Let govt come forward... Let PM send his representatives. Any negotiations are rumours."
However, it's clear that the government did try to break the ice on Sunday as crowds at Ramlila Maidan made it clear they have placed their faith in Anna to lead a sustained nationwide demonstration against corruption. Yesterday, the government deputed Umesh Chandra Sarangi, a senior bureaucrat from Maharashtra and spiritual leader Bhaiyyu Maharaj as its emissaries. Both men are from Anna's home state of Maharashtra and know the activist well.
But sources say Team Anna has made it clear that discussions with the government have to reflect the complex stature of a nationwide crisis; so a top minister, Dr Manmohan Singh or Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi need to meet them at the negotiating table.
The Lokpal Bill - or even a condensed version of its main features - is not what is drawing the thousands of housewives, students and office-goers. Most people say they have run out of patience with systematic graft; it is corruption in public offices at all levels that people are tired of battling in everyday life. In Anna and his protest, they have found a channel for their frustration. There is an unofficial dress code at Ramlila Maidan which pairs "I am Anna" t-shirts with the Gandhi topi that Anna is rarely seen without. The chorus rings out periodically as the crowd churns: "Anna, tum sangharsh karo, hum tumhaare saath hain (Anna, you keep up the fight, we are with you)."
Arvind Kejriwal, a member of Anna's core team, said today that the activists' aim is not to destabilize the government. He also denied allegations that by asking people to protest outside the homes of ministers and MPs, he is inciting hooliganism. "We have simply asked people to protest peacefully," clarified Mr Kejriwal. Countering charges that Anna's movement is undermining Parliament and its right to legislate, Mr Kejriwal said, "What is democracy? It is not just voting once every five years and handing over your destiny to representatives. It is day-to-day engagement with your representatives." (Read: Hooliganism charges against us false, says Kejriwal)
In Delhi today, a small group of people protested at the residence of Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit; in Mumbai, a similar demonstration outside the home of Congress MP Priya Dutt provoked an unexpected response. "I'm in favour of a strong anti-corruption bill," Ms Dutt said. She also backed Anna's demand for the Lokpal Bill to cover both senior judges and the Prime Minister. Both have been excluded from the government's draft. (Watch: Congress MPs offer support for Anna)

29 Andhra legislators loyal to Jagan to resign
Hyderabad: Twenty-nine Andhra Pradesh legislators loyal to YSR Congress party chief Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy on Sunday decided to resign to protest the inclusion of late chief minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy's name in the complaint registered by the CBI in a case against his son.
Rallying behind Jaganmohan, who is facing a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the alleged illegal assets, 24 legislators, almost all of them belonging to the ruling Congress, decided to quit.
Five other legislators have conveyed to the party that they would also resign, said YSR Congress leaders.
Congress leader Amarnath Reddy told reporters after a meeting at YSR Congress party office here that they have decided to submit their resignations out of love for their beloved late leader.
'The Congress had called YSR a god when he was the chief minister and now the same party is tarnishing his image after his death by including his name in the FIR (first information report),' said Amarnath.
He said they would submit their resignations to assembly speaker N. Manohar Sunday evening.
The party hopes many others would come forward to quit. 'You should not be surprised if 29 more legislators submit their resignations tomorrow (Monday),' said YSR Congress party leader Jupudi Prabhakar.
Two MPs and four members of state legislative council loyal to Jagan are also likely to resign.
The FIR says YSR doled out several favours to certain companies which invested in the firms floated by his son Jaganmohan in a quid-pro-quo arrangement.
YSR, who became chief minister in 2004, died in a helicopter crash in 2009.
Jagan, as Jaganmohan Reddy is popularly known, quit the Congress last year after he was sidelined by the party leadership. He floated the YSR Congress party in March this year and was re-elected to the Lok Sabha from Kadapa.
The CBI last week launched the probe against Jagan on the direction of the Andhra Pradesh High Court on the petitions of a state minister and some leaders of opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
The central agency during the last four days searched residences, companies of Jagan, his family members and also the firms which invested in his businesses.
The legislators loyal to Jagan met and took the decision even as Jagan continues to tour Krishna district to console the family members of those who committed suicide or died of shock following his father's death.
Those who attended the meeting include P. Subhash Chandra Bose, B. Srinivas Reddy, Konda Surekha and K. Ramakrishna who served as ministers under YSR.
Actress-turned-legislator Jayasudha, Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) legislator Shoba Nagi Reddy were also among those who attended the meet.

CBI To Probe Emaar Scam Since Babu Regime
>> Sunday, 21 August 2011
If the Central Bureau of Investigation has its way, even Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu would face interrogation in connection with the Emaar properties case.
CBI joint director V Lakshminarayana told the media that the inquiry would be done right from the beginning, rather than only during the Y S Rajasekhara Reddy regime.
“We are looking at it as a total project from its inception, and not as a (particular) period,” he said.
It was Chandrababu Naidu who had had entered into the MoU with Emaar Properties with 26 per cent stake for the APIIC. It was Naidu who had alienated land to Emaar Properties at a cheap rate of Rs 25 lakh per acre, at a time when the market value of the land was Rs 1 crore per acre.
Ironically, his government had acquired 90 acres of land out of the total 535 acres from local farmers at a rate of just Rs 4 lakh per acre. Now all these farmers are crying foul. So, if the CBI has to probe, it has to question the whole deal!

Allari Naresh Facing Threat From Sunil
After Rajendra Prasad, the only actor who has been able to provide that type of comedy is comedian hero Allari Naresh.
Making his debut with the film ‘Allari’, Naresh put the title as his surname. Being the son of EVV, Naresh got more fame and success than his brother Rajesh and so far, he has been coming up with comedy flicks.
But now, he has got a threat. This is in the form of comedian hero Sunil. Becoming a full time hero with ‘Maryada Ramanna’, this ‘Andala Ramudu’ took some time after ‘Appalaraju’ and decided to become a comedy hero. Soon, he will be seen with the film ‘Pularangadu’.
However, such titles suit only Allari Naresh. ‘Madatha Kaja’ ‘Attili Sattibabu’ ‘Kithakithalu’ are few titles which connect us to Naresh directly. It now remains to be seen how much Sunil can impress with this genre of films.

Growing Sympathy For Y S Jagan!!
With the CBI intensifying their raid, the sympathy for Jagan is increasing statewide.
Already, 27 MLAs and 2 MPs from YSR Congress party have gone ahead and submitted their resignation citing the allegation by government that YSR is a culprit of corruption.
Incidentally, YSR is the man who single handedly brought Congress to power twice in state and once in the centre.
There is also news that few more are in the line to tender their resignation. Coming to the CBI raids, if they are adhering to the Congress High Command, the chances are that Jagan’s accounts would be frozen and his companies would be stopped from functioning. The other side is, if CBI proceeds as per its wishes without congress interference then Jagan will go to jail. But the second version is 99% speculation.
If Jagan goes to jail the sympathy for him among the people of the state will increase many times. Just like Mohan Babu did in ‘Assembly Rowdy’, the chances are that Jagan will turn the wheel if he goes inside.

If Vijayamma goes to the people and gives one statement “Since the death of YS, this is how Congress has been torturing us and sending to jail” then the situation will be such that other parties will lose their deposit. But this also will not happen.
Right now, Jagan is getting strong publicity and following. Thanks to CBI raids, the support for him has increased. If he gets the support of 75 MLAs, then he can play with the state government. He has the chance of shedding crocodile tears and say “The hardwork that my father has put for this state has finally made him an accused in CBI FIR.” We can say that Kiran’s government has fallen into minority.
155 (Congress)- 27 (Jagan) = 128 + 17 (PRP) + 7 (MIM) = 152. If few more come out of this 152 and join Jagan’s party then the chances are strong that government will fall.

10 things to know about Anna Hazare 'n Jan Lok Pal Bill.. !
1. Who is Anna Hazare?
An ex-army man. Fought 1965 Indo-Pak War
2. What's so special about him?
He built a village Ralegaon Siddhi in Ahamad Nagar district, Maharashtra
3. So what?
This village is a self-sustained model village. Energy is produced in the village itself
from solar power, biofuel and wind mills.
In 1975, it used to be a poverty clad village. Now it is one of the richest village in
India. It has become a model for self-sustained, eco-friendly & harmonic village.
4. Ok,...?
This guy, Anna Hazare was awarded Padma Bhushan and is a known figure for his social
activities.
5. Really, what is he fighting for?
He is supporting a cause, the amendment of a law to curb corruption in India.
6. How that can be possible?
He is advocating for a Bil, The Jan Lokpal Bill (The Citizen Ombudsman Bill), that will
form an autonomous authority who will make politicians (ministers), beurocrats
(IAS/IPS) accountable for their deeds.
8. It's an entirely new thing right..?
In 1972, the bill was proposed by then Law minister Mr. Shanti Bhushan. Since then it
has been neglected by the politicians and some are trying to change the bill to suit
thier theft (corruption).
7. Oh.. He is going on a hunger strike for that whole thing of passing a Bill ! How can
that be possible in such a short span of time?
The first thing he is asking for is: the government should come forward and announce
that the bill is going to be passed.
Next, they make a joint committee to DRAFT the JAN LOKPAL BILL. 50% goverment
participation and 50% public participation. Because you cant trust the government
entirely for making such a bill which does not suit them.
8. Fine, What will happen when this bill is passed?
A LokPal will be appointed at the centre. He will have an autonomous charge, say like
the Election Commission of India. In each and every state, Lokayukta will be
appointed.
The job is to bring all alleged party to trial in case of corruptions within 1 year. Within
2 years, the guilty will be punished. Not like, Bofors scam or Bhopal Gas Tragedy case,
that has been going for last 25 years without any result.
9. Is he alone? Whoelse is there in the fight with Anna Hazare?
Baba Ramdev, Ex. IPS Kiran Bedi, Social Activist Swami Agnivesh, RTI activist Arvind
Kejriwal and many more.
Prominent personalities like Aamir Khan is supporting his cause.
10. Ok, got it. What can I do?
At least we can spread the message. How?
Putting status message, links, video, changing profile pics.
At least we can support Anna Hazare and the cause for uprooting corruption from
India.
At least we can hope that his Hunger Strike does not go in vain.
At least we can pray for his good health.
Thanks for reading.

Explained: What is 4D Aromascope
New Delhi: The latest movie in the Spy Kids series Spy Kids: All the time in the World is adding a fourth dimension to the film - smell.
The producers are promoting the film as Spy Kids 4 in 4D presented with Aroma-scope. While the audience watches the movie in 3D with stereoscopic glasses they have scratch and sniff cards to smell at different points during the film. "Families are going to love the interactivity of this new addition to the movie going experience," says director Robert Rodriguez.
There will be eight opportunities in the movie where viewers can access the action interactively through smell. The Aroma-scope cards will be distributed for free with the tickets and will have different numbered regions that viewers are supposed to rub and smell a corresponding number flashes on the screen. Movie viewers can experience the scent of Spy Kids 4 even if they watch the movie in conventional 2D.
One of the first films to add of smell to the movie viewing experience was Scent of Mystery (1960) that used a technology called Smell-O-Vision that released an odour into the theatre during the screening of a film. Another similar technique was AromaRama that sent the scents through the air-conditioning system.
In the early versions of the technology the act of smelling was involuntary for the audience. In 1982 director John Waters gave the viewers more control with the 'Odorama' version of his film Polyester that had scratch and sniff cards with 10 different smells. The 2003 movie Rugrats Go Wild also used Odorama cards and the cards were also included in the DVD release. But idea of adding the sense of smell to cinema never caught on and only a handful of films used the technique.
Spy Kids: All the time in the World releases on August 19, 2011.

Only 50% of Telangana people want separate state: CNN IBN survey
>> Sunday, 14 August 2011
While nothing can beat a referendum brought forward by a Government, we do have media houses occasionally conducting those surveys to know people’s opinion at large. This time, we have a survey conducted by CNN-IBN and CNBC TV18 on the hot topic of ‘Demand for Telangana’.
While political leaders from Telangana region scream on top of their voice that each and every person of 4 Crore Telangana population are demanding a separate state (and by the way, the recent population stats reveal that Telangana region hardly has 3.5 crores people), the survey conducted by these network 18 channels tells something different.
The question is ‘How Andhra Pradesh should be’?
Just 50% of the respondents from Telangana region prefer division on the state. But good news for T supporters is that this number has risen from 42% back in 2009 May.
While this is the case in Telangana region, an overwhelming 90% of the respondents from Seemandhra region prefer the state to be united, as it is now (Samaikhyandhra). Back in May 2009, this group only accounted for 71%, which tells that desire to keep the state united has grown at a greater pace in Seemandhra region compared to dividing the state opinion observed in Telangana region.

Jagan's Fortunes Will Rise In Three Months
After opinion survey by a media organisation, it is now the turn of the astrologers to predict victory for the YSR Congress Party President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Jagan will become virtually unstoppable after three months from now when he comes out of the adverse planetary position, said a well-known astrologer from Khammam, Narasimhacharyulu.
Right now, Jagan is passing through a rough patch which will last for three months. “His party is certain to come to power,” he predicted.
In fact, the Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Jagan were born in the same “Nakshatram” (planetary position at the time of the birth).
